- Profile & quiz answers: personality answers, academic stats (GPA, test scores), goals, preferences, and other information you submit to generate your report.
- Purchase information: billing email, country, and order history. Card numbers and full billing details are handled by Paddle and are not stored by us.
- Support communications: messages you send us.
- Usage & device data: log data, IP address, browser/device identifiers, referrer, and pages viewed.
2. How we use your information
- Create and manage your account (legal basis: contract).
- Generate your personalized student and parent reports (contract).
- Process purchases and provide receipts through Paddle (contract, legal obligation).
- Provide customer support (contract, legitimate interest).
- Secure the Service and prevent fraud or abuse (legitimate interest, legal obligation).
- Improve and develop the Service in aggregated/anonymized form (legitimate interest).
- Send service emails (contract). Marketing emails only if you opt in (consent).
3. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the following categories of recipients:
- Merchant of Record — Paddle: for sale of our product, subscription management, payment processing, tax compliance, invoicing, and customer payment support.
- Service providers / subprocessors: hosting and database providers, email delivery, analytics, AI model providers used to generate report content, and support tooling — strictly to provide the Service.
- Professional advisers: legal, accounting, and insurance, where needed.
- Authorities: where required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above — typically for the life of your account plus a reasonable period after closure to handle support and legal/financial recordkeeping. After that, data is deleted or anonymized.

Belong is built for high-school students considering college.
